Professor Dr. Harris is a Consultant Cardiologist. He completed his Master of Medicine in June 2007, after which he practised as a general physician with an interest in Cardiology in Hospital Tengku Ampuan Afzan, Kuantan and also underwent training in Interventional Cardiology in Hospital Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia, followed by Institut Jantung Negara. During this time, he also taught undergraduate medical students and published in high-impact journals. Prof Harris underwent cardiac CT imaging training in Holy Cross Hospital, Fort Lauderdale, Florida,USA, and also completed a Fellowship in Interventional Cardiology Research in Korea University Medical Center, Seoul.
Professor Dr. Harris had been admitted as a Fellow for the National Heart Association Malaysia(FNHAM) in 2011, Fellow, International Society of Holter and Noninvasive Electrocardiology (FISHNE) in 2012 and Fellow for the Asia Pacific Society of Cardiac Intervention (FAPSIC) in 2015.
